STATE POLICE
A 22-year-old driver, of Emmaus, escaped injury after his vehicle overturned along Route 309 South, south of Interstate 78, Lower Macungie Township, 2:14 p.m. May 13. According to Pennsylvania State Fogelsville, the driver was traveling eastbound on Route 309 South while it was raining and road conditions were wet. The driver lost control of his vehicle and the vehicle slid sideways before striking an embankment and overturning. The vehicle came to a final rest on its top, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
An 27-year-old driver, of Ephrata, and his 16-year-old passenger, of Pine Grove, were not injured when their pickup truck struck a bridge and a pole along Sigmund Road, Upper Milford Township, 3:02 p.m. May 7. The driver was not paying attention while westbound and struck a guide rail on the passenger side of the vehicle, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The truck next struck a bridge and a utility pole. The truck was disabled and towed from the crash scene by Detwilers Auto.
Harold B.E. Williams, 41, of Allentown, was taken into custody for harassment and criminal trespass after he allegedly assaulted a person in the 7600 block of Racite Road, Lower Macungie Township, 8:30 p.m. May 1, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Zachary Robert Smith, 31, of Emmaus, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop on South Cedar Crest Boulevard, south of Minesite Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:04 a.m. April 6, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
An 18-year-old male, of Macungie, was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence and possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop for multiple traffic violations along Willow Lane at Mulberry Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 1:10 a.m. April 7, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Another 18-year-old male, also of Macungie, was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the same incident.
An 18-year-old male, of Allentown, was taken into custody for driving under the influence after a Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville trooper stopped a vehicle for equipment violations on Kressler Road at North Hedgerow Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 1:17 a.m. April 19. An 18-year-old male, of Macungie, was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the same incident.
Carlos Collazo-Lopez, 27, of Orefield, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence and related charges after a vehicle stop for traffic violations in the 6000 block of Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, 6:39 p.m. March 10, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 26-year-old male, of Allentown, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after a Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville trooper stopped him for driving with an expired registration.
Dennis Allen Yenser, 43, of Allentown, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence and alleged drug distribution after a traffic stop for an expired registration along Hamilton Boulevard near Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 9:07 p.m. April 20, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Multiple different controlled substances were allegedly located in the vehicle after a search of the vehicle was conducted, according to police.
Unknown actors dumped waste into a dumpster owned by Everett Custom Homes, of Allentown, at a construction site in the 5000 block of Hunter Lane, Upper Milford Township, May 4. Yomaira Nieves, 34, of Allentown, allegedly failed to check out all of the items in her cart at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 3:38 p.m. May 9, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Nieves allegedly removed $139.05 worth of merchandise, according to police.
Karissa Lynn Kinsinger, 33, of Kutztown, is suspected of retail theft after she allegedly under rang various merchandise at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 6:55 p.m. April 11, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
