District news: Empty Bowls event is scheduled for tonight, May 31, at NAMS
Join your community for the upcoming Empty Bowls event to benefit Northampton Area Food Bank. It will be held 5:30-7:30 p.m. tonight, May 31, in the courtyard of Northampton Area Middle School, 1617 Laubach Ave. You are invited to come and share a meal with your community. The event is to raise funds to help feed the hungry and raise awareness of food insecurity in the community.
Enjoy delicious soups, donated by local businesses and individuals, served in a handcrafted bowl made especially for this event. The bowls are yours to keep as a reminder that there are still people in the community whose bowls are empty.
An adult donation of $15 includes a handmade bowl (limited bowls are available). The donation of $7 for the age of 16 and younger does not include a handmade bowl; bring your own bowl. There is no admission charged for children 3 and younger.
