A Mongoose bicycle was removed from the porch of a home in the 1700 block of South Albert Street. The theft was reported to police 10:11 a.m. May 6. The bike is valued at $174.
A resident in the 1100 block of East Susquehanna Street reported to police 11:30 a.m. May 9, the theft of two money orders from a blue mailbox at 13th and Tilghman streets. An unknown person removed the money orders from the mailbox and cashed them. Police are reminding residents to not place mail with checks or money orders in private mailboxes or the blue mailboxes for pickup.
Hanging baskets were reported removed from the flower tent at the South Mall, 3300 Lehigh St., 7:35 a.m. May 11. The flowers are valued at $500.
A Google Pixel cell phone was stolen while the victim was shopping at Ross Dress for Less, 3300 Lehigh St., 10 a.m. May 11. The phone is valued at $800.
A student at Salisbury High School reported dropping a wallet containing $80 in a stairway 12:30 p.m. May 14. Police are reviewing video as part of the investigation.
An unknown person placed graffiti with permanent marker on the bathrooms at Devonshire Park. The graffiti was discovered by police 12:45 a.m. May 8.
A number of residents of Devonshire Park Apartments, 1641 33rd St., Allentown, reported tires were slashed on parked vehicles May 8.
A resident of the 2300 block of Cypress Avenue reported 1:15 p.m. May 14, an unknown person broke a window at the residence. Police are investigating.
An unknown person drove a vehicle through the grass at Dodson Park, 1038 Dodson St., causing damage to the field. A Porta Potty was also on its side. The damage was discovered 5:55 p.m. May 15.
Matthew Rake, 35, of Salisbury Township, was charged with simple assault and harassment following an alleged incident in the 700 block of Federal Street 10 p.m. May 9. He was taken to Central Booking for processing.
An 11-year-old female, of Allentown, a student at Lehigh Christian Academy, 1151 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., Allentown, was involved in an argument with another student saying, “I am going to kill you” 10:30 a.m. May 10. The student will be referred to the Community Justice Panel for juveniles.
A 21-year-old woman, of Allentown, was charged with suspicion of driving while under the influence, 10:48 p.m. May 11. She allegedly was laying on the side of the road in the 1600 block of Broadway by a vehicle which was running. She was taken to the hospital for treatment.
A 27-year-old male, of Allentown, was charged with suspicion of driving while under the influence after he allegedly was found in the 800 block of East Susquehanna Street 3:39 a.m. May 11 asleep in a pickup truck in a resident’s yard. He was taken to St. Luke’s University Health Network for treatment.
