A kind reminder! On May 19, the Lehigh Northampton Grangers are sponsoring a barbecue chicken dinner.

Dinners need to be picked up between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Schnecksville Grange, 5322 Route 873, Schnecksville.

Those who ordered dinners may eat in or take them out.

Proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to sponsor a $1,000 scholarship awarded annually to the Allentown Fair Queen.

The 2017 Allentown Fair Queen Zaren Kerper, of Fleetwood, will be present, so stop by and say hello.

Spread the word! On June 16, the Heidelberg Game Protective Association is having a Sportsmen’s Flea Market 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at 8886 Reservoir Road, Germansville. The public is invited. Vendors will be selling items related to hunting, fishing and outdoor gear.
