Science is buzzing in the air at Zephyr Elementary School! Selected students have been eagerly conducting experiments and collecting data for the school’s first science fair.

Tonight, May 17, at the school’s open house, these young scientists will showcase their scientific knowledge. The event is from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

It will be a great night to come out and see your child’s achievements.

Steckel Elementary School’s open house will be held 6-8 p.m. May 24. Plan to visit your child’s school and see some wonderful displays of student work.

Zephyr Elementary’s PTO will continue its spring book fair until tomorrow, May 18.

Steckel Elementary’s book fair is set for May 21-25.

Fliers have been sent home with more details and a preview of some of the great selections available.

At 7 p.m. May 23, Zephyr students will perform their spring concert in the Whitehall High School auditorium. Plan to attend a great night of music.

First grade’s field day will be held 9-11 a.m. May 31. The rain date is June 1. Students will participate in many fun activities.

Remember to dress your child appropriately for the weather. Also, be sure to wear sneakers, bring a water bottle and wear sunscreen.
