A 35-year-old man was pronounced dead 3:20 p.m. May 4 by Deputy Coroner Michael Bartholomew, according to a media release from the Lehigh County Office of the Coroner and Forensics Center.
The man was identified as James E. Heminitz, of Macungie, Berks County. Heminitz was pronounced dead on the railroad tracks to the rear of a residence in the 1100 block of Chestnut Street.
The Lehigh County Coroner’s Office, the Emmaus Police Department and the Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.
