SALISBURY POLICE
Police were contacted 10:40 a.m. April 19 about a burglary in the 1700 block of East Susquehanna Street. The locks on two trailers were broken although nothing was removed. A garage window was broken but nothing was removed. An orange Suzuki dirt bike was removed, valued at $500. Police are investigating.
An unknown person keyed a Ford SUV causing scratches on the sides, rear and hood of the vehicle in the 900 block of East Susquehanna Street. The criminal mischief was reported 5:45 p.m. April 19.
A resident called police 9:29 p.m. April 19 to report an ex-boyfriend has been stalking the resident at work in Phillipsburg, N.J.
A resident called police 2:16 p.m. April 23 to report an ex-boyfriend continues to message the resident. Police called the individual and told him to stop contacting the resident.
A resident in the 2400 block of South Filbert Street received a letter from the Internal Revenue Service stating a person gained employment by using the resident’s information. The incident was reported to police 2 p.m. April 20.
A resident in the 2200 block of Honeysuckle Road called police 3:15 p.m. April 20 to report hearing gunshots all day from behind the residence. Police also heard the shots when they arrived but were unable to locate where they were coming from because they were a far distance away.
A 20-year-old male, of New York, was charged with driving while under the influence, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia 7:16 p.m. April 21. Police received a report of males slumped over in a vehicle in the South Mall parking lot. The male was taken to Central Booking for processing.
A resident in the 1800 block of Sherwood Road called police 1:57 p.m. April 21 to report the theft of a check from a mailbox. The resident wrote several checks and placed them in a mailbox. The resident later discovered Target never received a payment and $9,000 was missing from the resident’s account. The Salisbury Police Department is reminding residents to not put outgoing mail in mailboxes because thieves are removing the bills and altering the checks.
Craig Solomon, 22, of Easton, was charged with alleged unauthorized use of a credit card, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. Solomon allegedly removed the credit cards from the console of a truck parked in the 900 block of East Paoli Street 11 a.m. April 3 and made charges at the Walmart in Whitehall. Police also uncovered similar charges in Bethlehem and Whitehall and filed charges on behalf of all municipalities. Solomon was taken to Central Booking for processing.
An employee at Vallos Baking Company, 1800 Broadway, told police 12:45 p.m. April 21, an unknown person removed a wallet from an employee’s purse. Police are investigating.
Police were called to Green Acres Park, 2702 Green Acres Drive, 2:25 p.m. April 22 for the report of a group of individuals smoking marijuana by the swings. Police found the individuals but there was no evidence of marijuana.
Tammi Sweet, 52, of Coplay, was charged with alleged possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license and an outstanding warrant, following a traffic stop 7:51 p.m. April 22 in the 3000 block of South Pike Ave. She was taken to Central Booking for processing.
Marcia Grabarits, 51, of Breinigsville, was charged with alleged possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident 2:18 p.m. April 16 at Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest. A citation was mailed.
Nicole Weber, 46, of Salisbury, was charged with alleged possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident April 16 in the 3000 block of Cedar Lane. A citation was mailed.
Kyree Riddick, 25, of Allentown, was charged with alleged unsworn falsification, false identification to law enforcement and expired inspection 3:45 p.m. April 24 following a traffic stop along South Cedar Crest Boulevard. He was taken to Central Booking for processing.
Bryan Isaacs, 39, of Salisbury, was charged with strangulation, simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief following an alleged incident 4:46 a.m. April 14 in the 1500 block of Maumee Avenue. He was taken to Central Booking for processing.
Richard Weber, 46, of Salisbury, was charged with simple assault and harassment following an incident 3:58 p.m. April 16 in the 3000 block of Cedar Lane. Weber allegedly beat the victim and removed a debit card, charging $1,000. There was damage to items in the home as well. Weber was taken to Central Booking for processing.
