True spirit! Requests for baked good donations for the Allentown Soup Kitchen are being made for May 7.
Baked goods made with chocolate will be happily accepted and may be dropped off in the fellowship hall between 6-7 p.m.
According to Heidelberg Church Soup Kitchen Coordinator Linda Hausamann, 150 hot meals were served recently to the hungry and homeless at the soup kitchen.
The meal included ravioli, salad, fruit cocktail, rolls and delicious homemade desserts from faithful Heidelberg bakers.
Special thanks to the volunteers of the day: Doris and Richard Koenig, Shirley Boger, Barbara Matthias, Robin Koch, Matthew Loch and Linda Hausamann.
If you would like to find out more about helping at the soup kitchen, call Linda at 610-767-5281.
