In celebration of Earth Day and Arbor Day, a member of the Parkland Garden Club recently talked to students at each of the elementary schools in the Parkland School District on the importance of conservation and tree care to help preserve the environment.
Members of the garden club also wrapped 700 white spruce seedlings that were distributed to all the first grade students, as well as, to the girls in the club-sponsored Daisy and Brownie Troop.
