Christ’s Church at Lowhill, 4695 Lowhill Church Road, New Tripoli, is hosting “A Time to Remember” Mother’s Day Tea Party 1 p.m. May 5 with a vintage bridal show in the sanctuary.

Bring wedding, bridesmaid, flower girl or mother-of-the-bride or mother-of-the-groom dresses, or any photo albums or wedding memorabilia you may have.

Prizes awarded for the best tea party hat.

Lehigh Valley Zoo, 5150 Game Preserve Road, Schnecksville, and the Parkland Garden Club will participate in the annual Arbor Day tree planting April 28.

Join zoo staff for Save the Frogs Day with a variety of conservation themed activities including a “Build a Shelter” station April 29.

Cinco de Mayo will be celebrated at the zoo with a real life wolf feeding 10:30 a.m. May 5 at the Mexican Gray Wolf exhibit.

Meet nationally known artist Hong Foo and several other local artists on Arts and Craft Day at the Zoo May 6.

There will be hands on crafts and activities at both the Cinco de Mayo and Arts and Craft Day events.

The zoo’s next Corks and Canvas painting party featuring the Snowy Owl is scheduled for May 10.

Gates open 5:30 p.m. Painting begins at 6 p.m.

Enjoy an evening of painting at the zoo, while sipping on wine.

Bring your own beverage for the evening.

The fee includes one 8-by-10 inch canvas, paint and brushes, a disposable apron and one general admission pass to come back to visit the zoo during regular hours.

Proceeds will go toward the zoo’s North American River Otter Exhibit Renovation Fund.
