State police Troop m
Pennsylvania State Police Troop M has released information regarding 16 unsolved homicides on the Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers website, crimewatchpa.com/crimestoppers/316.
Some of the cases from Northampton, Lehigh and Bucks counties are decades old, with one dating back to the 1950s.
Some of the highlighted cases are:
•Kelly McBride was residing in her home in Northampton Borough at the time of her murder. Her husband was convicted of her murder in 2001, but her remains were never recovered.
•Brother and sister Gail and Paul Schultz were murdered near their home in Upper Nazareth Township, Northampton County, in 1953.
•William Michael Sharkey was found deceased in the trunk of his vehicle in Upper Mount Bethel Township, Northampton County, in 1998.
• David Allen Gross was found beaten to death inside his vehicle parked at the Arrow Island Lookout in Upper Mount Bethel Township, Northampton County, in 1977.
• Foul play is suspected in the 1981 disappearance of Ryan Kemp, Heidleberg Township, Lehigh County. He was last seen at the IGA supermarket in Schnecksville.
Anyone with information can submit a tip via the Crime Stoppers website or by calling 1-800-4-PA-TIPS. Anyone with a tip may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
