PSSA state testing will continue this week for grades 3-8. Next week, fourth-graders will be taking the science PSSAs.

It is important that students do their very best to attend school during these dates. Be sure to get plenty of rest and eat a good breakfast, along with being prompt to school.

Makeup testing will be taking place the following week.

Reminder: At 7 p.m. April 20, there will be a Northampton Area Middle School band concert. It will be held in the auditorium of the high school, 1619 Laubach Ave.

Northampton Area High School will be holding its art show April 26. The talents of many students will be displayed. The show begins 6:30 p.m. and ends 8:30 p.m.

On April 27, the high school band concert will be performed. It begins 7 p.m. and is held in the auditorium of the high school.

The 2018 Festival of Bands will be held 2:30 p.m. April 29 in the auditorium of Northampton Area High School.

Selections of this year’s event, titled “Awesome Overtures,” include “Festive Overture,” “Orpheus Overture,” “Chester Overture” and “Zampa Overture.”

The performance benefits Lehigh Valley children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Admission is free.

Grades and report cards will be available on the district website, nasdschools.org. Navigate to parent resources to view online grades and academic records. On there, parents/guardians will be able to connect to Sapphire to view the grades.
