Upper Macungie Township police allege a dog belonging to a 33-year-old woman from the 1100 block of Grove Drive, Orefield, left the confines of her property 4:45 p.m. March 22 and ran into a neighbor’s yard.

Police allege the dog chased after the neighbor’s cat, causing it to run up a tree.

A non-traffic citation regarding confinement of dogs was filed against the dog’s owner with District Judge Michael Faulkner, Upper Macungie Township.
