SALISBURY HIGH SCHOOL

The Salisbury chapter of the National Honor Society held an induction ceremony April 4 at Salisbury High School.

Opening remarks were given by co-advisors Paul Koba and Megan Basile.

Remarks were also made by Salisbury High School Principal Heather Morningstar and Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning Lynn Fuini-Hetten.

NHS officers are President Peyton Stauffer, Vice President Rylee Donaldson, Secretary Madison Jewell and Treasurer Kaitlyn Rutt.

NHS members were also in attendance to welcome the new inductees. Each chapter is required to publish its qualifications for membership, which is based on the four pillars of NHS: scholarship, service, leadership and character.

Students who accept membership and are inducted into the chapter recognize the time and commitment involved with this honor.

In addition to meetings, members also must participate in chapter and individual service projects to benefit the school and community.
