The Woman’s Club of Emmaus recently named Julia Norelli as the September 2017 Girl of the Month.

Julia was recognized for her achievements in music.

Julia, the daughter of Wendy Norelli, of Lower Macungie Township, is a senior at Emmaus High School.

Julia is an officer in the EHS Chorale, AcaBella, the all-female a cappella group and Select Choir. She is a member of the Tri-M Music Honor Society and has been selected to the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association District, Regional and All-State Choirs. In addition, the Lehigh Valley Chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing has awarded Julia a first place award in musical theatre and second place in classical performance. Over the course of her high school career, she has performed in the dramas and musicals produced by the drama department. Painting, songwriting, playing the guitar and private vocal lessons keep Julia busy.

Julia plans to attend college to study music production and sound recording technology. She wants to work with music in some way in her future career.
