Greenleaf Lodge 561 F.&A.M. will be hosting its 28th annual Stanley H. Roth Master’s Golf Tournament May 19 at the Allentown Municipal Golf Course

The day’s activities include: 7 a.m. registration with coffee and doughnuts, 7:20 a.m. putting contest, 8 a.m. shotgun start (rain or shine).

Immediately following the four-person scramble golf tournament there will be a luncheon at the Allentown Municipal Pavilion.

There is a fee per golfer. If payment is received before April 19, the names will be entered into a drawing to win one Taurus Millennium G2 9 mm pistol.

Registration closes on May 12.

Awards and prizes will be awarded for straightest drive hole, longest drive hole, closest pin hole, team low gross, and pot-o-gold.

In addition to participation on the course, consider a sponsorship opportunity.

All sponsors will be recognized with a handsome sign on the course as well as the sponsor’s name in the program booklet.

A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the Injured Marine Semper FI Fund, which provides immediate and long-term support for post-9/11 injured and critically ill members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families.

Allentown

The Allentown Band will perform a special concert 3 p.m. April 22 at the historic Zion’s Reformed United Church of Christ, 622 W. Hamilton St., Allentown.

This unique program was created by conductor Ronald Demkee to coincide with the special exhibit “Last One In: American Ideals in Conflict with American Attitudes,” on immigration at the Liberty Bell Museum, which is housed within the church building.

The exhibit will feature editorial cartoons about each wave of immigrants to America.

The concert benefits the educational programs of the Liberty Bell Museum, which provides a hands-on educational experience for every third-grader in the Allentown School District.

There is per person fee for tickets, which will be available at the door.

The admission fee includes admission to the museum the day of the concert.
