LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

FALCON INSIDER

Last week students at Salisbury High School showed their school spirit during spring spirit week.

On March 19 and 20, students showed their school spirit by participating in pajama day and 1990s day. Due to the snowstorm, spirit week was cut short and students were unable to participate in Hawaiian shirt day or dress like a teacher day. However, spirit week continued this week, ending today with a pep rally.

No Place For Hate is selling T-shirts for their annual Day without Hate. No Place For Hate is a club at SHS which promotes creating a kind and accepting place at Salisbury. All T-shirts can be purchased until March 28. No Place For Hate is asking everyone to wear either this year’s shirt or a previous No Place for Hate shirt April 27 to support a Day without Hate.

During the month of March, students have been participating in the “What’s your 17?” challenge by participating in a variety of different acts of kindness.

These acts of kindness include holding the door open for someone or getting to know someone you don’t know. Join the challenge and support Salisbury community members as they spread kindness throughout the community.

All sport practices have officially begun for the spring season. Games have already begun or will be beginning shortly, so check the schedule so you can come support SHS.

Finally, students are looking forward to the start of spring break with an early dismissal March 29. Students will have off March 30 and April 2. All students will return to school April 3.
