‘Payback’ screening March 28
Northampton Community College will hold a free public screening of “Payback,” a film based on Margaret Atwood’s book about debt and societal values, at 7 p.m. March 28 at Frank Banko Alehouse Cinema at SteelStacks, 101 Founders Way. It will be followed with a discussion led by Dr. Cara McClintock-Walsh, professor of English. The showing is part of the NCC annual humanities program, “Exploring Identity through the Humanities.” For complimentary tickets, call 610-332-3378.
Cresco’s Jesse Lewis named to Newman Civic Fellows
Campus Compact, a Boston-based nonprofit organization, has announced that NCC student Jesse Lewis, of Cresco, has been named to the CC 2018 cohort of Newman Civic Fellows.
The Newman Civic Fellowship, named for Campus Compact co-founder Frank Newman, is a one-year experience emphasizing personal, professional and civic growth. The Newman Civic Fellowship is supported by the KPMG Foundation and the Newman’s Own Foundation.

Management course offered this spring
Society for Human Resource Management Learning System classes will begin on April 7. Classes will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Saturday through May 12 at the Center Valley campus, 2809 Saucon Valley Road, Center Valley.
There is a cost which includes all course materials. Registration deadline is March 30.
