LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

LETTER TO THE EDITOR

To the Editor:

I am a member of Troop 43. The reason I am writing to you is about the problem of making factories or warehouses on our farmland.

In my opinion, this is a bad choice because they will replace farm homes and farmland. The people removed from their homes had to work hard to keep the farm going. If we keep this up, most of the farmland in the country will be gone.

In my opinion, the farmland on Airport Road is now a FedEx warehouse that takes up so much land that does not really need to be there because they even have a FedEx warehouse at the airport. They had to expand the road to accommodate all the trucks, which took more land away from the farms. They also are taking animals’ homes - and [the animals] have to move, or they will die.

In conclusion, they should stop now before they ruin our environment even more than it already is.
