MORAVIAN COLLEGE

Emma Angle, of Cherryville, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2017 semester at Moravian College, Bethlehem. A freshman, she is majoring in nursing.

Seton Hall University

Garrett Pruzinsky and Morgan Tirpak, both of Whitehall, were named to the dean’s list at Seton Hall University for the fall 2017 semester. The university congratulates them for their outstanding academic achievements.

Tallahassee Community College

Arlena Elizabeth Ann-Passaro, of Bath, was named to Tallahassee Community College’s fall 2017 dean’s list. Ann-Passaro was among more than 1,500 students named to this honor. To qualify, students must earn a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Cedar Crest College

Nyla Boulware, of Coplay, attended the 2018 National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) Conference Feb. 17-21 in Boston, Mass. NACA is the recognized leader in higher education providing knowledge, ideas and resources for campus life. Members are provided with programs and events focusing on student and professional leadership development, program planning, concert management, diversity, networking and more.

Located in Allentown, Cedar Crest College was selected as a Top Regional College and Best Value in U.S. News and World Report’s Best Colleges rankings from 2012 to 2016 and Best College for Veterans in 2015 and 2016. Loyola University Maryland

Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its fall 2017 dean’s list. In order to qualify for the dean’s list at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum quality-point average of at least 3.5 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.

Established in 1852, Loyola University Maryland is a Catholic, Jesuit comprehensive university comprising Loyola College, home to the university’s arts and sciences programs; the Sellinger School of Business and Management; and the School of Education. Bob Jones University

The Bob Jones University Alumni Association recently recognized Sarah Worsham, of Walnutport, a junior elementary education major, as a legacy student.

Each year, the BJU Alumni Association is pleased to recognize second-, third- and fourth-generation legacy students. In order to be eligible, students must have at least one parent who graduated from BJU.

Graduating legacy students are presented with a medallion signifying the multigenerational history during commencement week at the annual legacy medallion ceremony and reception. Graduating seniors are encouraged to wear their medallions during commencement activities.

In addition to the legacy medallion, the BJU Alumni Association makes available alumni child tuition aid grants to legacy students who have at least one parent who is a member of the association. Eligible students have received over $260,000 in grants over the life of the program.

Tallahassee Community College

Brielle Nicole Fiore, of Whitehall, was named to Tallahassee Community College’s fall 2017 president’s list. Fiore was among more than 1,000 students named to this honor. To qualify, students must earn a semester GPA of 4.0.

Kutztown University

Michael Colarusso, of Coplay, has been inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society at Kutztown University. Founded in 1897, Phi Kappa Phi is the nation’s oldest, largest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines. It is a global network comprised of the best and brightest from all academic disciplines - a community of scholars and professionals building an enduring legacy for future generations.

Clemson university

Daniel M. Thomas, of Walnutport, has been named to the president’s list at Clemson University for the fall 2017 semester. To be named to the president’s list, a student must achieve a 4.0 GPA. Thomas is majoring in general engineering.
