District news: Congrats, NAMS, on contest win!
Several Northampton Area Middle School seventh-grade students participated in the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science event and had two first-place winners and one second-place winner.
The first-place winners will be moving on to the state competition in May.

Northampton Area High School students will perform “The Addams Family” 7 p.m. March 22-24 and 2 p.m. March 25.

Northampton Area High School’s DECA Club has bingo set for March 24. It will be held in the cafeteria of Northampton Area High School.
There will be two separate sessions of bingo. The first bingo starts 11 a.m.; doors open 10 a.m. The second bingo starts 5 p.m., and doors open 4 p.m.
Prizes will include various Pampered Chef items. A basket raffle will also be held.
Food and specials will be for sale.
All proceeds will benefit DECA members and their efforts at the national conference.

Due to inclement weather this school year, Northampton Area School District is required to make up four instructional days. The following days have been added to the school calendar and will be school days for students now: March 29 and June 4, 5 and 6.

Spring break will be March 30 to April 2. If there is any more inclement weather, these dates are subject to change for makeup days.

Commemorative brick pavers that will be placed at the new memorial plaza outside the entrance of Al Erdosy Stadium and the entrance to the new district swimming pool are still available for purchase. This memorial plaza will be the center of the secondary campus.
This buy-a-brick fundraiser is sponsored by Northampton Area Konkrete Kids Educational Foundation, and all proceeds will be used to supplement and enhance NASD K-12 education programs.

Box Tops For Education is underway in the elementary schools. Box Tops can be found on many different products. Simply cut out the Box Tops and send them to school with your child.
Each Box Top earns money for the schools.
