The Church of the Good Shepherd, 135 Quarry Road, Alburtis, will hold its annual spring bazaar 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 17. There will be crafts, white elephant, bake sale, basket auction and food, both eat-in and takeout.

There will be a craft and vendor fair March 18 at Macungie Memorial Park.

Macungie Bears Swim Team will host a “Meet the Team” event 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. April 7 at the Emmaus High School pool. Swimmers interested in joining the team are welcome to come and meet the team and coaches. Team registration will also be taken at this event.

Concordia Lutheran Preschool will hold its annual Community Easter Egg Hunt March 24 with registration starting 9 a.m. There will be a pancake breakfast immediately following in Fellowship Hall.

Egg decorating for the Easter Egg Hunt will take place 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 31 at Macungie Memorial Park.

There will be photos with the Easter Bunny 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 31 at the Flower Park. The event is sponsored by the town beautification committee.

The Macungie Easter Egg Hunt will take place 2 p.m. April 1 at Macungie Memorial Park.

My husband drops Ben off at school each morning on his way to work. One morning, a song started on the radio and Matt said, “That music makes me want to dance, to jump up and down.” There was a pause and then after a strange look, Ben replied, “You do what you have to do.” Matt started laughing and said, “You are funny.” With a complete deadpan response, Ben said, “I wasn’t trying to be funny,” which made my husband laugh even more.
