The Saucon Valley High School theater department parades onstage with “The Music Man ” where con-artist “Professor” Harold Hill’s scheme to bilk a small Midwestern town gets complicated when he meets Marian the librarian.
Curtain times are 7 p.m. March 8, 9, 10 and 2 p.m. March 11, auditorium, Saucon Valley High School, 2100 Polk Valley Road, Hellertown.

The musical’s book, music, and lyrics are by Meredith Willson, based on a story by Willson and Franklin Lacey. The Broadway production received nine Tony Award nominations, winning five in 1958. The 2000 Broadway revival garnered eight Tony nominations.
Songs include “Seventy-Six Trombones,” “Goodnight, My Someone,” “My White Knight,” and “Till There Was You.”
