SALISBURY POLICE
Police were alerted to an online threat against “SHS” in the early morning hours of Feb. 22. A post on social media, depicting a screenshot of a Facebook post from an individual threatening to shoot up “SHS” under the name of Ray Andres, initially was believed to be generated in Guam. It was later ruled out as not a threat to Southern High School or other Guam schools. Guam Homeland Security/Office of Civil Defense issued a statement saying, “After further research, it is known that the image is circulating across other schools from the continental United States.” Police and Salisbury High School administrators determined the high school to be safe. A later post states the FBI and Clark County deputies were able to pinpoint the location of where the social media post generated. After executing a search warrant and seizing a number of electronic devices, a 17-year-old girl, who was a student of Springfield High School, located between Dayton and Columbus, Ohio, was arrested.
