Weisenberg Lowhill Township Historical Society will have its quarterly meeting 7:30 p.m. Feb. 27 at the Weisenberg Township Municipal Building, 2175 Seipstown Road, Fogelsville.
Speaker will be Carl Zvanut, president of the local chapter of Engineers without Borders. He also volunteers at the Da Vinci Science Center and Hawk Mountain Sanctuary.
A retired chemical engineer who worked at DuPont and Air Products, his topic of interest will be Frederick Leaser, an American patriot who transported the Liberty Bell from Philadelphia to Allentown in 1777 for protection during the Revolutionary War.
