Allentown Music Club

The Allentown Music Club is sponsoring the 2018 Dr. Albert Hofammann Scholarship for Young Pianists.

Piano students who attend a school in Lehigh or Northampton counties and are enrolled in grades 9 through 12 are eligible.

Applications for the $1,000 prize competition must be received by March 1.

Auditions are from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. March 3 at Asbury United Methodist Church, 1533 Springhouse Road, Allentown.

The winner is required to play for the club at its 3 p.m. April 7 meeting at Hope United Church of Christ, 1031 Flexer Ave., Allentown.
