State Police Troop L, Hamburg, and Hamburg Borough Police, Berks County, are investigating the death of a 58-year-old woman which occurred 5:24 p.m. Feb. 17 at 402 N. 5th St., in the borough.

State police say borough police responded for a report of a domestic incident. Upon arrival, they discovered Suzanne Lenkiewicz, who was deceased, and her husband Gary, 56, on the floor.

Police say emergency medical services were dispatched to the home.

Gary Lenkiewicz, transported to Reading Hospital in critical condition, was later upgraded to stable. State police were requested to investigate and the criminal investigation section activated the major case team.
