If the shoe fits: “Rodgers And Hammerstein’s Cinderella,” the 2013 Tony Award-winning Broadway musical, plays the State Theatre Center for the Arts for two performances, 7:30 p.m. Feb. 16 and 17. The musical, starring, above, Leslie Jackson and Tatyana Lubov, originally written for television, debuted in 1957 starring Julie Andrews. The show, which made its Broadway debut in 2013, with music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, new book by Douglas Carter Beane, original book by Hammerstein, was directed by Mark Brokaw and choreographed by Josh Rhodes. The tour is directed by Gina Rattan and choreographed by Lee Wilkins. Jazz man returns: The Simon Mulligan Trio, with Mulligan, above, piano; Gene Perla, bass, and Dave Willard, drums, returns for the “Jazz Upstairs” series, 7:30 p.m. Feb. 16, Rodale Community Room, Miller Symphony Hall, Allentown. Following his début with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Simon has performed and recorded with the BBC Symphony, Detroit Symphony, Warsaw Sinfonia, Hong Kong Philharmonic, and the Royal National Scottish Orchestra. Simon performed for President Barack Obama, Her Majesty The Queen and the Royal Family, and has collaborated with Dame Shirley Bassey, Branford Marsalis, Liza Minnelli, Van Morrison, and Sting.
