STUDENT OF THE WEEK

Q. In what grade are you currently enrolled?

A: I am currently enrolled in the 12th grade at Emmaus High School.

Q. What is your favorite subject? Why?

A: My favorite subject is math because I feel it is very applicable on a daily basis and is very useful in real life situations.

Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?

A: Yes, I am a member of National Honor Society, Hispanic Honor Society, Principal’s Advisory Board and Student Athlete Leadership Team.

Q. Are you involved in any extracurricular activities?

A: I play on the high school baseball team and I also participate in Future Business Leaders of America.

Q. What is your next goal after high school?

A: My next goal after high school is to go to college and further pursue my education in the business field. Specifically, I would like to pursue some advanced classwork in economics and finance. Also I plan on taking advantage of the study abroad program while in college.

Q. What do you consider your biggest challenge to date?

A: I have tried to be involved in various activities while in high school. This has led to some challenges relating to time management and something I continually work on with the hope of becoming more efficient.

Q. For what would you like to be remembered?

A: I would like to be remembered as someone who respected the opinions of others. I also hope people felt as if I acted in a respectful manner toward them.

Q. Who is in your family?

A: My parents are Kurt and Karen. I have two older brothers – Storm, who attends the University of South Carolina and Chase, who attends Pace University.

Q. Whom do you admire? Why?

A: I admire my parents for always being so supportive of my various endeavors. They encouraged me to always try to be the best version of myself that I can be. They have taught me to recognize my strengths and not dwell on my weaknesses.

Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?

A: Enjoy every minute of high school because before you know it, it will have already passed.
