A-Treat accepting hero nominations

A-Treat Soda, Orefield, has announced its first “A-Treat Heroes,” campaign honoring selfless individuals who are making an impact and giving back to the local community.

“Our community is comprised of many different kinds of heroes, from active volunteers at shelters, soup kitchens and nonprofit organizations, to community firefighters, police officers and doctors,” Luke Jaindl, A-Treat general manager, said. “It’s time these individuals were recognized for their compassionate actions.

“This campaign is our way of honoring and showcasing these selfless heroes in the community.”

Individuals are encouraged to nominate someone who they believe is an “A-Treat Hero” by nominating them at A-Treat.com/ATreat-heroes, until Feb. 19.

On Feb. 21 A-Treat Soda will select six finalists who will each receive a $500 donation to the nonprofit of their choice.

The nonprofit must be a registered 501(c) non-profit organization

All finalists will be featured on the official A-Treat Soda Facebook page, where fans will be asked to vote for the first place grand prize winner, deemed the official “A-Treat Hero of 2018.”

To honor the winning “A-Treat Hero,” A-Treat Soda will showcase the winning individual’s story and photo on the label of its 20 oz. Cream Soda.

Ten percent of all proceeds from A-Treat Cream Soda will be donated to the winner’s charity of choice.

A-Treat Soda and Jaindl Farms will donate additional dollars to guarantee the charity receives $10,000.

Votes will be cast Feb. 21-23. The official “A-Treat Hero” will be announced Feb. 26.

All donations made will be courtesy of A-Treat Soda, Jaindl Farms and Jaindl Companies.
