Terrance Ramnarine, 27, of Catasauqua, was pronounced dead 2:58 a.m. Jan. 31 at the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 800 block of East Susquehanna Street, Salisbury Township.

Deputy Coroner Cassandra Schiffner was called to the scene of the accident. According to the coroner’s office, an autopsy was performed Jan. 31; the cause of death is attributed to injuries sustained from the motor vehicle accident.

The manner of death was ruled an accident.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, the incident occurred at approximately 2 a.m. in the 800 block of East Susquehanna Street, Salisbury Township. Ramnarine was a passenger of a motor vehicle which struck a wall.

The Lehigh County Coroner’s office and the Pennsylvania State Police are conducting the investigation, with the assistance of the Lehigh County District Attorney’s office.

Mail was removed from a mailbox in the 1800 block of Sherwood Road 2 p.m. Jan. 27. The resident placed paid bills in the mailbox and put the mail indicator flag up. Several pieces were removed; a check for $199 was removed and cashed.

Howard Giering, 19, of Allentown, was charged with theft by unlawful taking, disorderly conduct and taking and receiving stolen property 1 p.m. Jan. 30. Giering was allegedly caught going through mailboxes in the 2600 block of Colorado Street. Police stopped his vehicle and found three pieces of mail from a home and two checks. He was taken to Central Booking for processing.

Brian Naugle, 25, of Allentown, was charged with attempted theft by unlawful taking following an incident in November 2017. Naugle allegedly tried to remove a lawnmower from a home in the 1200 block of Potomac Street when the homeowner returned and told him to put it back. Naugle was taken to Central Booking for processing.

April Bridger, 43, of Allentown, was given a summary citation for theft of services following an incident 5:17 p.m. Jan. 23. Bridger allegedly called a taxi, traveling several places and ending up at the Shell Quick Stop, 1132 S. Cedar Crest Blvd. for cigarettes. When exiting the store, she allegedly got into another vehicle after causing a scene and never paid the taxi driver $35.

Matthew Fabian, 24, of Allentown, was given a summary citation for alleged possession of a small amount of marijuana following a traffic stop in the 1600 block of East Susquehanna Street 1:55 a.m. Jan. 28. Andrew Koren, 24, of Zionsville, was charged with alleged driving under the influence of a controlled substance during the same traffic stop. Koren was taken to Central Booking for processing.

A warrant has been issued for Michelle Remaley, 22, of Summit Hill, for the unauthorized use of a credit card, theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. Remaley allegedly drove her aunt to Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest 1:40 p.m. Jan. 28 and held her aunt’s purse while being treated. When the aunt got her purse back, a debit card was missing. Three charges were made to the account for a total of $200.30.

Two people forced entry into a home in the 1600 block of Sterner Lane and removed items from a bedroom 12:05 p.m. Jan. 31.
