The Parkland Art League will meet 7 p.m. at Macungie Institute, 510 East Main Street, (Route 100) Macungie. Robert Barber will demonstrate figure painting in oils. Barber is an avid plein air and studio painter and is a member of the Mid-Atlantic Plein Air Painters Association.

The Lower Macungie Library will celebrate Chinese New Year 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with one of its festive cultural programs for the whole community. Join them for Chinese cultural shows, Chinese calligraphy, paper cutting, red envelopes, raffle, displays and food.
