Pennsylvania State Police troopers responded to an alarm at BB&T Bank, 5700 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, 10:12 p.m. Dec. 29, 2017. It was determined the location was secure and the location was responsible for three prior false alarms. The business was cited for its fourth false alarm in a 12-month period.
A 20-year-old male, of Bethlehem, was charged with possession of marijuana after a traffic stop of a vehicle for an inoperable headlight and an expired registration along Hamilton Boulevard at Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, 2:23 a.m. Dec. 2, 2017. According to police, upon contact with the operator of the suspect vehicle, the odor of marijuana was detected. A probable cause search of the vehicle revealed marijuana, according to police.
