An employee at South Mountain Family Practice, 1545 Broadway, Bethlehem, reported 7:52 p.m. Jan. 11 an unknown person removed a wallet from an unlocked car. The wallet contained identification, insurance cards, a Victoria’s Secret credit card and two debit cards. Multiple charges have been made on the debit cards. Police are investigating.

Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Tweed Avenue 7:53 a.m. Jan. 12 for the complaint of a vehicle with a smashed window blocking a driveway. Police determined the vehicle had been reported stolen in Allentown. The Auto Theft Task Force said the owner could pick up the vehicle.

A student at Salisbury High School told police 12:45 p.m. Jan. 13 his vehicle was keyed on the driver’s side and trunk while parked in the student parking lot. Police are reviewing surveillance video.

A resident in the 1100 block of Tweed Avenue reported 11:33 a.m. Jan. 23, a fox statue on the property was found laying in an alley with a broken nose.

Krystal Leap, 34, of Macungie, was charged with suspicion of driving under the influence following a report of a car on a lawn in the 2300 block of Woodland Drive 4:27 p.m. Jan. 23. She was transported to Central Booking for processing.

An unknown person dumped construction debris inside a dumpster in the 1900 block of Chapel Avenue. It was reported to police 9:50 a.m. Jan. 24 and it is currently under investigation.

A warrant has been issued for Adam DeJesus, 26, of Allentown, who has been charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. DeJesus allegedly removed a cellphone from an employee at Wendy’s, 3390 Lehigh St. and attempted to sell it at ecoATM kiosks at both the South Mall and Lehigh Valley Mall. DeJesus allegedly declined the offers from both kiosks on the iPhone 7 but not before he and his license were photographed.

A prescription pad was reported missing from a purse at the Lehigh County Corrections Center, 1600 Riverside Drive, 11:36 a.m. Jan. 17. This incident is under investigation.

Takiyah Garrett, 31, of Reading, was charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property following a series of alleged thefts from Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest since Dec. 14, 2017. Police are still investigating and additional charges are pending. Garrett was taken to Central Booking for processing.

A resident in the 1100 block of Lehigh Avenue told police 2:45 p.m. Jan. 13 his mother opened a PayPal account in his name and made purchases totaling $1,000.

A resident in the 1600 block of Gaskill Avenue reported to police 3:25 p.m. Jan. 24 receiving a series of telephone calls regarding her grandson which were all fraudulent. The first call was allegedly from her grandson saying he was in a car crash, he had been arrested and needed a $2,000 Apple gift card. The resident drove to the Apple store, obtained the gift card and gave the numbers to the caller when they called back. A day later, she received a call from a lawyer saying they needed $10,000 to fix the car the grandson hit. She sent that money as well. Later, she received another call allegedly from her grandson saying he needed an additional $6,000 which was sent. On Jan. 24, she received another call requesting an additional $8,000 which was not sent. The resident made contact with her grandson who said he was fine and the calls were fraudulent. The money was sent to Florida. Police are investigating.

Harry Destry, 54, of Bronx, N.Y., was charged with forgery, identity theft and theft by deception, following an incident at T-Mobile, 3300 Lehigh St., 3:28 p.m. Jan. 23. Destry allegedly attempted to use someone else’s identification to buy three iPhones at $800 each. The T-Mobile employee was notified by the fraud department that the identity was stolen. Destry was transported to Central Booking.

A resident in the 2000 block of Church Road reported 7:42 p.m. Jan. 13 hearing shots in the area. Police sat along Church Road and heard no shots.

A couple in the 2000 block of Cypress Avenue returned to their home 8:28 a.m. Jan. 16 to find their screen door cut and the front door open but blocked as if someone attempted to gain entry to the home. The unknown person was not able to enter the home.

Police were called to a disturbance between family members in the 1600 block of Broadway 5:54 p.m. Jan. 16.

Two Howard Miller mantle clocks were reported removed from Weil Clocks, 2200 31st St., Allentown, 10 a.m. Jan. 16. The clocks are valued at $1,474. This theft is under investigation.

Police were called to SmileKrafters, 1247 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., 9:20 a.m. Jan. 17, for the report of a customer upset because insurance was denied.

A patient at Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest allegedly hit two victims in the stomach while being helped to the restroom 7:57 p.m. Jan. 18.

Police were called to the 1600 block of Broadway 2:10 p.m. Jan. 18 for an attempted theft. Police were told an unknown person rummaged through an unlocked car on the property; nothing was taken.

A resident in the 20 block of Jennie Street reported 3 p.m. Jan. 19, an unknown person attempted to use the resident’s Allentown Credit Union credit card which was denied and then successfully removed $300 from an ATM machine.

Jared Salla, 33, of Allentown, was issued a non-traffic citation 5:36 p.m. Jan. 19 following an alleged traffic stop in the 3000 block of South Pike Avenue.

Gordon Coleman, 55, of Quakertown, was charged with two counts of harassment after allegedly sending threatening texts to an employee at Lehigh Valley Health Network, 7:37 p.m. Jan. 20.

A resident in the 500 block of East Paoli Street called police 6:15 a.m. Jan. 20 after noticing a hole in his couch and another hole in the wall. Police found two casings outside of the home as well as two bullet casings in the street. A bullet was found in the couch. Several neighbors reported they heard cars going up and down the street, yelling, screaming and arguments. The resident said he heard loud banging at his door during the night but he didn’t answer.

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the 1600 block of Riverside Drive 6:37 a.m. Jan. 20 while walking with another person to a bus. The vehicle, a dark sedan, slowed down and then left the scene. The victim was taken to St. Luke’s University Health Network with leg pain.

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest, 1200 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., 7:06 a.m. Jan. 22. The pedestrian was an employee going to work and did seek treatment in the emergency room. The driver did stop and provide information. The incident is currently under investigation.

A 17-year-old male at Salisbury High School was found with some marijuana 2:15 p.m. Jan. 23. He will be referred to the Criminal Justice Panel.
