Marie Maffeo, 91, formerly of Lower Macungie Township, died Jan. 16, 2018, in Lehigh Center, Macungie. She was the wife of the late Michael Maffeo.

She was employed as an executive secretary in New York City for many years until retiring. Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Carmela (Toscano) Scicchitano.

She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Allentown and was a member of its Prime Time Seniors Group.

She is survived by sons, Alphonse, M.D. and his wife Martha N., of Emmaus and Vincent A., Esq. and his wife Debra, of Naples, Fla.; sister, Rose Narva, of Los Angeles, Calif.; brother, Edward Scicchitano, of Long Island, N.Y.; grandchildren, Maryann and her husband Brian Cort, of Bethlehem, Michael and his wife Leslie (Heenan), of Vienna, Va.; Michelle, of McLean, Va. and Stephanie, of Naples, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Allison, Julia and Dylan Cort and Nolan and Zoe Maffeo. She was predeceased by a brother Frank Scicchitano.
