FRIENDS OF THE EPL

Lovers of good books and local ales over the age of 21 are invited to Books ‘N’ Beer at Yergey’s Brewing Nano-Brewery and Triple Sun Spirits, 518 Bank St., Emmaus, 6 to 8 p.m. March 7.

Organized by volunteers from the Friends of the Emmaus Public Library, the event is an opportunity to discover some “fun reads” while socializing at the local nano-brewery, which is typically closed Wednesday nights. Tickets, available at the circulation desk of the Emmaus Public Library beginning Feb. 1, entitle buyers to heavy snacks and a chance to win the Reader’s Winter Survival door prize. Yergey’s produces and serves artisan beers which will be available for sale.

In addition to beer and spirits tasting and book discussions, attendees will have the opportunity to buy raffle tickets for two baskets filled with books across a variety of genres.

The snow date is March 14.
