Lebanon Valley College is a private, coeducational college founded in 1866 and dedicated to the liberal arts. Central Penn College
Austin Appel, of Whitehall, has been named to Central Penn College’s dean’s list for the fall 2017 term. Appel is currently majoring in information technology. To qualify for the designation, a student must carry six or more credits and earn a GPA of 3.5 or better for the term.

Kimberly Casey, of Whitehall, was recently named to the president’s list at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Potsdam. Casey, whose major is music performance, was among 882 SUNY Potsdam students who were honored for academic excellence in the fall 2017 semester. College President Dr. Kristin G. Esterberg recognized the students for earning top marks. To achieve the honor of being on the president’s list, each student must have satisfactorily completed 12 numerically-graded semester hours, with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
