LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

STUDENT OF THE WEEK

Q: In what grade are you currently enrolled?

A: I am currently a senior at Salisbury High School.

Q: What is your favorite subject? Why?

A: History. I love learning about past societies/civilizations and their cultures. It’s so interesting to look into past trends and see how they develop through time.

Q: Have you received any special awards or recognition?

A: I have been involved in National Honor Society since my sophomore year.

Q: Are you involved in any extracurricular activities?

A: I have been involved in the Salisbury’s soccer team for all four years of high school, and was a captain this year. I have also been involved in track and field for four years, Salisbury’s theatre program for four years, band for nine years and Model UN starting this year.

Q: What is your next goal after high school?

A: My next goal is to go to a four year college/university to get a bachelors and masters in global/international studies.

Q: What do you consider your biggest challenge to date?

A: I think so far the college application process has been my biggest challenge. I have spent hours and hours researching schools, and visiting them, sometimes to find them nothing what I expected. It’s taken a lot of restarting and reevaluating in order to find the ones I loved.

Q: For what would you like to be remembered?

A: I would like to be remembered as making some sort of difference, as cliche as that sounds. No matter how big or small, I want to make a positive impact on other people.

Q: Who is in your family?

A: My mother, Kimberly, my father, Joseph and my cat, Diamond.

Q: Whom do you admire? Why?

A: I admire my mom, Kim. She has such an amazing work ethic and is constantly trying to learn more and do more.

Q: Do you have any advice for your peers?

A: Don’t slack off during senior year. Many colleges look at it and can drop you as a admitted student if your grades plummet.
