State Police Troop M, Fogelsville, say a 38-year-old Reading man allegedly committed 35 fraudulent transactions between May 19, 2017, and July 10, 2017, at various Giant grocery stores throughout Berks, Lehigh and Northampton counties.

Police allege Nicholas Lon Pavlov entered various Giant grocery stores throughout three counties and presented a fictitious Bonus Card in order to return merchandise he had not purchased.

The fraudulent transactions and the amount he obtained by allegedly committing these crimes was $646.76.

Police say on Jan. 11, he was charged with 35 counts of access device fraud, theft by deception and receiving stolen property.

He surrendered to police Jan. 12 on the outstanding charges.

Pavlov was arraigned at Lehigh County Central Booking and his bail was set at $10,000.

He was unable to post bail and was remanded to the Lehigh County Jail pending his next court appearance.
