LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

STUDENT OF THE WEEK

Q: In what grade are you currently enrolled?

A: I am currently a senior at Salisbury High School.

Q: What is your favorite subject? Why?

A: I enjoy history because you can learn about the past and how we today can take those past events and apply them to the future of our world.

Q: Have you received any special awards or recognition?

A: I have been inducted into National Honor Society and have earned high honor roll, honor roll, Eagle Scout and was nominated to attend Keystone Boys State educational program in the summer of 2017.

Q: Are you involved in any extracurricular activities?

A: I play varsity baseball and golf for SHS. Also in the summer, I play Legion baseball for Salisbury. I am a member of Scholastic Scrimmage and Model United Nations.

Q: What is your next goal after high school?

A: I am planning to attend college and major in accounting.

Q: What do you consider your biggest challenge to date?

A: A week into my freshman year, I injured my foot, so it was extremely challenging adjusting to a new school, new classes and environment on crutches for a full month.

Q: For what would you like to be remembered?

A: I want to be remembered as a hard-working student and a person that respected and was friendly to everyone. On a more comical note, I also want to be remembered for setting the record for the worst pitching ERA in Salisbury history at 147.

Q: Who is in your family?

A: My parents, Mark and Alice, and my sister, Mary.

Q: Whom do you admire? Why?

A: I admire my parents because they have worked very hard over the course of their lives to make my life better.

Q: Do you have any advice for your peers?

A: High school is all about hard work. To succeed, you do not have to be naturally smart, just do your homework and study. Talk to your teachers if you are struggling and they will help you. If you have a better work ethic, your grades will improve as well.
