Two students reportedly sustained minor injuries in a school bus accident Jan. 9 that prompted a road closure in Upper Milford Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
The school bus was in the 3500 block of Church View Road when the operator lost control of the school bus at about 10:21 a.m. The bus left the roadway and struck ground wires for a utility pole. The collision caused the utility pole to break. The bus then struck several large logs before coming to a final rest. Four students were on the bus at the time. Two of the students reported minor injuries but were cleared by EMS first responders and their parents, according to police.
The accident closed the road for about four hours and the road was closed while the utility pole was replaced.
Jose Orlando Garayalde-Rodriguez, 28, of Macungie, was arrested for terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment, according to police, after he is alleged to have followed and threatened a person with an axe in the 1900 block of Willow Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 4:59 p.m. Dec. 17, 2017.
Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville investigated multiple reports of items removed from unlocked vehicles in the 3700 block of Rittenhouse Road, Lower Macungie Township, between 6:30 p.m. Oct. 7 and 1 p.m. Oct. 9, 2017. An unknown actor broke the window of a vehicle in the 4300 block of Elm Drive, Lower Macungie Township, and removed a wallet from inside the vehicle between 10:45 and 11 p.m. Oct. 6, 2017. The victim’s credit card was then used at two separate banks to withdraw $300. Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville at 610-395-1438.
An unknown actor entered an unlocked vehicle in the 7000 block of Lincoln Drive, Lower Macungie Township, and removed an unknown amount of change between Oct. 5 and 10, 2017, according to police.
An unknown actor entered a vehicle in the 5400 block of Lamb Terrace, Lower Macungie Township, and removed items overnight Oct. 8, 2017, according to police.

Three teens are accused of criminal mischief after Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville received a complaint of multiple individuals smashing pumpkins and destroying Halloween decorations in the area of Clover Lane and Fieldview Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 11:30 p.m. Oct. 30, 2017. Three females, ages 14, 17 and 18, were apprehended after attempting to flee on foot from police, according to police.
An unknown actor damaged a kitchen window at a residence in the 6200 block of Clover Lane, Lower Macungie Township, overnight Oct. 28, 2017.
Joshua Lee Stevens, 27, of Uniontown, was taken into custody for alleged criminal mischief after police were called to an active disturbance in which a male dressed in a black hooded sweatshirt was observed yelling loudly, throwing beverage cans and setting off car alarms at 6690 Hauser Road, Building M, Lower Macungie Township, 2:01 a.m. Oct. 7, 2017. According to police, upon arrival at the scene troopers observed a male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt standing next to a black SUV the rear window of which had been completely smashed out. Numerous papers, binders, electronics, food items and household items were observed scattered around the vehicle and throughout the street. Investigation by police revealed the male at the scene allegedly had damaged the vehicle.
