LET’S PLAY BOOKS

Chuck Wendig returns to Let’s Play Books Bookstore, 244 Main St., Emmaus, for the launch of the fifth installment of his Miriam Black urban fantasy series, “The Raptor and the Wren,” Jan. 23.

The event will be 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tickets are required.

“The Raptor and The Wren” is being released simultaneously in hardcover and paperback. Purchase of any Miriam Black series book is required for admission to the book launch event.

Chuck Wendig is a novelist, screenwriter and game designer. He’s the author of many published novels, including: “Blackbirds” and the New York Times bestselling series “Star Wars: Aftermath.” He is co-writer of the short film “Pandemic” and the Emmy Award–nominated digital narrative “Collapsus.” Wendig has contributed over two million words to the game industry. He is also well-known for his advice to writers, which he dispenses at his blog, TerribleMinds.com and through several popular ebooks, including “The Kick-Ass Writer.”
