Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville are investigating a crime committed by an unknown actor who removed $500 from a wallet reportedly dropped in the parking lot at Walmart, 1091 MIll Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, Nov. 21, 2017.

A 27-year-old male, of Allentown, was cited for public drunkenness after he was located in the parking lot of the Foundation Tavern, 1160 S. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 2:43 a.m. Nov. 25, 2017. Workers contacted Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville about the male. He attempted to gain entry back into the bar approximately one hour after closing and was seen sitting inside a vehicle that did not belong to him. The male was highly intoxicated, according to police.

A 43-year-old male, no address or name given, was charged with possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia after Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville were dispatched to Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, for a male inside a vehicle who appeared to not be alert 4 p.m. Nov. 18, 2017. Troopers observed drug paraphernalia and numerous needles inside the vehicle at the time.

A 19-year-old man, of Allentown, was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana after Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville troopers responded to Camp Olympic Park, Lower Macungie Township, 10:39 p.m. Oct. 12, 2017, for a report of a suspicious vehicle in the park after closing. A probable cause search of the vehicle revealed a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Kevin T. Earl Jr., 24, of Easton, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after he was determined to be in physical control of a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol on Hamilton Boulevard, north of Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, 1:27 a.m. Oct. 15, 2017, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Kara Megan Kelly, 34, of Orefield, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after she was determined to be in physical control of a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol on Route 222 northbound, just south of Interstate 78, Lower Macungie Township, 12:32 a.m. Sept. 29, 2017, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Kelly was later released, according to police.

Joshua Ryan Cruz, 34, of Allentown, was taken into custody under suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after a traffic stop for vehicle code violations along North Krocks Road at Reppert Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 10:31 p.m. Sept. 23, 2017, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Cruz also allegedly was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana, according to police.

Lincoln Dale Labar, 53, of Bath, was taken into custody under suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after a traffic stop for vehicle code violations on West End Trail at Route 100, Macungie borough, 12:53 a.m. Sept. 30, 2017, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Labar also allegedly was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana, according to police.

Christopher R. Bailey, 46, of Santa Fe, N.M., was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop was conducted for violations along Sauerkraut Lane at Saddlebrook Road, Lower Macungie Township, 3:43 a.m. Oct. 10, 2017, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Susan Lynn Perdick, 49, of Emmaus, was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence after a traffic stop for multiple traffic violations along Brookside Road at Indian Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:58 p.m. Oct. 25, 2017, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Lillith Adell Heffelfinger, 21, of Coopersburg, was accused of allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance after police responded to a hit and run crash in the 2000 block of Church View Road, Lower Milford Township, 3:15 a.m. Oct. 20, 2017, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

An unnamed 67-year-old male, no address given, was determined to be under the influence of a controlled substance and to be in possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop for vehicle code violations along Route 222 southbound, north of Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 2:09 a.m. Oct. 29, 2017, according to police.

A 17-year-old male, no address given, was accused of driving under the influence of marijuana after a traffic stop along Riverbend Road at Little Spur, Lower Macungie Township, 12:06 a.m. Sept. 10, 2017, according to police.

A 27-year-old male, of Allentown, was taken into custody for driving under the influence after a traffic stop for various traffic violations along Route 222 at Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 9:18 p.m. Sept. 29, 2017, according to police.

Matthew Dale Caton, 37, of Macungie, was taken into custody under suspicion of driving under the influence after a trooper on routine patrol along Buckeye Road at Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, 10:48 p.m. Nov. 21, found Caton to be allegedly driving his vehicle, swerving on the roadway, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 55-year-old woman, of Macungie, reported to police she left her purse containing her wallet in a shopping cart when placing the cart in the cart return in the parking lot of Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 5:30 p.m. Nov. 19, 2017. The woman returned home and upon realizing the purse was missing, returned to the store. A canvas of the store and shopping carts was conducted by store employees but the purse was not found. An unknown actor entered a vehicle in the 7100 block of Scenic View Drive, Lower Macungie Township, and removed a Ruger LCR handgun from the center console of the vehicle overnight Nov. 27, 2017. An unknown actor applied for an $800 loan using the personal information of a resident of Beverly Hills Road, Lower Milford Township, July 28, 2017, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The investigation of the incident continues.

A resident in the 3000 block of Gehman Road, Lower Macungie Township, received a phone call from a person stating he worked for computer company HP 1:30 p.m. Dec. 7, 2017. The township resident stated he provided the caller with his bank account information so he could get refunded for a faulty program he bought for his computer. The caller then refunded thousands of dollars more than he stated he would and attempted to get the township resident to withdraw the money from his bank account and transfer the money into a different account. The township resident refused to do so but later noticed a $200 currency charge to his bank account, according to police.

A 17-year-old male, of Allentown, is accused of simple assault after he allegedly showed up at a residence in the 2500 block of Fieldview Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 12:42 a.m. Nov. 22, 2017 and struck a 57-year-old male in the face several times with a closed fist, according to police.

Two residents of a location in the 3000 block of Sheffield Drive, Lower Macungie Township, reported unknown actors accessed their identifying information and bank information between Nov. 21 and 29, 2017 and purchased a television and an unspecified item, according to police.

A resident in the 1000 block of Treeline Drive, Lower Macungie Township, reported seeing a white male wearing a black hat, black jacket and light colored pants walk through the backyard of the home 10:42 a.m. Dec. 5, 2017.

An 55-year-old woman, of Allentown, reported the theft of her purse while at Panera Bread, 6379 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, 1:40 p.m. Dec. 5, 2017. According to police, the woman was eating when a male took her purse. The woman’s sister observed the man with the purse and told the woman. She attempted to grab the suspect but he fled on foot. The woman’s belongings were recovered at the scene. The suspect is described as in his 20s. He had dark brown hair, cut in a crew cut style, and was wearing jeans, boots and a dark-colored shirt, according to police.

A resident of the 4500 block of Chestnut St., Emmaus, reported her wallet was no longer in her purse after she attended a lunch party at a residence in the 3700 block of John Street, Upper Milford Township, Dec. 3, 2017.

Tiffany Elizabeth Martin, 37, of Macungie, is suspected of retail theft after she allegedly removed several items from Giant, 7150 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, 2:03 p.m. Nov. 26, 2017, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 38-year-old woman, of Macungie, reported a 58-year-old female pushed her causing her to fall and injure herself at a location in the 3400 block of Butler Lane, Lower Macungie Township, Nov. 24, 2017.

Theft by deception

A 34-year-old male resident of the 700 block of Krocks Court, Lower Macungie Township, reported to police he was using the Internet when a pop-up window indicated the computer had a virus. An Apple technical support number was provided. The male was convinced to pay to fix his computer. He then contacted Apple technical support and was told he was scammed.
