Hermina Y. Henitz, 83, of Northampton, died Dec. 27, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg. She was the wife of the late Alfred F. Henitz.

Born in Coplay, she was a daughter of the late Adolph Yandrasitz and Theresa (Rumback) Schmall.

She was a sewing machine operator for Universal Pants until her retirement.

She was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, where she sang with the choir and was a member of the women’s guild.

She is survived by a son, Alfred P. and his wife MaryJane; a brother, Frank J. Yandrasitz; three grandchildren, Kelly Henitz, Joshua and Jasmine Dawson; and three great-grandchildren, Marina, Peter and Timothy Dawson.
