Ethel V. Geosits, 81, of Cementon, died Nov. 20, 2017, at ManorCare Health Services I, Bethlehem. She was the wife of John J. Geosits Sr. for 61 years.
Born in Cementon, she was a daughter of the late John and Susan (Mlock) Madea.
She was a sewing machine operator for the former Cross Country Clothes, Egypt, for 42 years until she retired when the plant closed.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Egypt.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a brother, Michael Madea of Cherryville; three sisters, Lucy Gregus of Bethlehem, Elsie Adams of Coplay and Martha Guzzi of Palmer Township; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Geosits of Coplay; and a grandson, Christopher of Coplay.
She was predeceased by a son, John J. Jr.; six sisters, Anna, Helen, Pauline, Susan, Elizabeth and Cecelia; and six brothers, John, Albert, Thomas, Joseph, Frederick and Donald.
