Kalmbach park

This year marks the 15th annual gingerbread competition and display at Kalmbach Memorial Park. The deadline for paper entries is Nov. 30; creations do not need to be delivered until Dec. 3. Judging takes place Dec. 4 and winners are revealed at the display Dec. 9 during Macungie Holiday.

It is not uncommon to have over 600 people come through the Kalmbach barn each Macungie Holiday. Everyone gets to vote on a “People’s Choice” award and it is a holiday event so many families really look forward to.

Participation is encouraged in this “sweet” successful tradition – an opportunity for families and friends to share in edible creative holiday amusement.
