Emmaus High School will dismiss students 11 a.m. Nov. 22 and will be closed Nov. 23, Nov. 24 and Nov. 27 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
For freshmen who did not receive a fundraiser packet in Flex Block last week, they are available outside of Room 235. The ninth grade class is selling Double Good Popcorn. The fall fundraiser will run through Nov. 29. All packets and money are due on or before Nov. 29 to either Mrs. Murray in Room 335 or Mrs. Ardito in Room 235.
The Emerging Health Professionals Program provides high school seniors with an opportunity to experience a variety of health care careers in a hospital setting and take Penn State science courses for college credit. Students spend three days a week rotating among various departments of a hospital. Students will experience these departments throughout the three Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network facilities.
Representatives from Lehigh Career and Technical Institute and Penn State University will visit Emmaus High School 1 p.m. Dec. 1 to explain the program in detail and supply applications to interested and qualified juniors for the 2018-2019 academic school year. Interested students should stop by the counseling office to sign up for the presentation.
Art Club’s next meeting will be Dec. 6 in Room 527.
Mud Club meets 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. every Tuesday. Attend if you would like to make projects with clay and glaze finish them. All are welcome to create with clay and enjoy snacks at Mud Club.
The lost and found is located in the main office. If you have lost anything recently, stop by the main office. Any unclaimed items will be donated.
The EHS winter chorus concert will be held 7:30 p.m. Dec. 5.
The National Honor Society Induction ceremony will take place 7 p.m. Dec. 6 in the EHS auditorium.
EHS winter band concert will be held 7 p.m. Dec. 8.
