The Woman’s Club of Whitehall has named Grace Helfrich as the Girl of the Month for October.

She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Helfrich and has earned high honor roll for all marking periods.

Helfrich is a member of several clubs and school groups, including concert choir (secretary), Whitehall High School Chorale, Key Club, Zephyr Nation and the field hockey team. She is in National Honor Society, both the Science and English national honor societies and Mu Alpha Theta, a mathematics honor society.

She is also a Dean’s Scholarship Program participant for Moravian College.

Helfrich serves as the captain of Marojoka field hockey team and is a member of her church’s worship praise team. She is also employed part time and models.

In addition, Helfrich does volunteer work with Relay for Life, Whitehall Area Hunger Initiative, the MS walk, Vacation Bible School, Angel 34 and Operation Christmas Child.

Helfrich plans to attend Moravian College and major in sociology and elementary education.
