Nov. 15

Emmaus Historical Society meeting 7 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church Parish Hall, Fifth and Chestnut streets. The program will include information about the Schwar Geneology Library which is housed in the museum. Society member Lynette Fink will talk about the history of the Schwar Genealogy Library.

Nov. 16

The Swain School, 1100 S. 24th St., Allentown, will host an admissions open house 9 to 11 a.m. Head of School Dr. Shannan Schuster, as well as current Swain families, faculty and students, will meet with prospective families to tour classrooms and learn more about the programs. Nov. 17

The Children’s Ball, “Journey to Oz,” a Wizard of Oz theme, will be hosted by Community Services for Children at Lehigh’s Mountaintop Campus, 6 to 9 p.m. The ticket includes a reception, seated dinner, live jazz and an auction. Jon Stetson, a mentalist, is the special guest entertainer. Proceeds from ball will support CSC’s early education programs, including Head Start. Lower Macungie Township Library book sale 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Also Nov. 18.

Nov. 18

Ninth annual craft/vendor fair 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lower Macungie Township Community Center. Over 100 crafters and vendors will participate. Brookside Deli will offer lunch 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. A free shuttle from the parking lot to the door will be provided by Corporate Limousine.

All-you-can-eat breakfast buffet 7 to 11 a.m. at Old Zionsville United Church of Christ, 5981 Fountain Road, Old Zionsville. There is a cost; children under six are free. For more information, call Darlene at 610-966-5115 or the church at 610-966-3601.
