State Police Troop M Bethlehem say Thomas Mankos reported a Ford truck struck his steel mailbox and post sometime between 7-9 p.m. on Oct. 6 at 9010 N. Loop Road, Washington Township.
According to police, the truck was traveling north on North Loop Road, when the driver lost control of the truck, which left the right side of the road.
Police say the passenger side mirror of the truck struck the mailbox and post located approximately 2 feet from the road, before veering back onto Loop Road.
The driver fled the scene in the truck without leaving information as required by the Pennsylvania Vehicle Codes, police say.
According to police, the truck is missing a right side chrome mirror, with built in defrost and turn signal, along with part of the metal mounting assembly.
State Police Troop M Fogelsville say a Honda E2000i generator and a fall arrest device were stolen between Oct. 17 and 18 after forced entry was made to a locked construction site trailer at 7465 Route 309, Lynn Township.
The generator is valued at $1,500. The fall arrest device is valued at $500, police say.
State Police Troop M Bethlehem say a 51-year-old man from the 4900 block of Washington St., Washington Township, reported his personal information was used to open up a fraudulent Verizon wireless store account sometime between 12:01 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. Sept. 29.
